1. Which altered portrait was the hardest to create? Why? Explain.
The hardest photo to create was the Angel portrait. Getting the back light of the image was hard because every time I would make sure the light was hitting the camera just right. So I would snap the photo, went to go back and look at it and the photo was over contrasted and the model would be way out of focus.
2.Which altered portrait was the easiest to create? Why? Explain.
I think the easiest altered photo was the Sepia photo. You just had to add black and white to the photo and add another “chocolate” contrast to the image.
3. What does "Altered Portrait" mean to a viewer vs a photographer? Explain.
Altered Portrait to a view means that the photo is edited with some color and for a photographer it means that the photo is being edited pixel by pixel. It appears to the photographer to look less blotchy and to have better quality.
4. Out of the 7 altered portraits which one will you likely create again? Why? Explain.
Out of the 7 altered portraits, I would definitely create the Hand Colored Black and Whites. That style of a portrait was probably my favorite one to create because it makes the photo look old and it creates this color thats appealing to the eyes and it makes the image look ten times better than with high contrasted colors.
5. What is the historical significant behind one of the altered portrait techniques you learned? Explain.
The historical significance to an altered photo techniques that I learned from this project is that we study pictures for the past because it shows that people want to be remembered for who they were and what they did.
6. Why is it important for you to learn how to alter portraits? Explain.
It’s important to learn how to alter photos because we are given a chance to fix the pixels and your personally trying to make it look better.
7. Should all portraits be altered? Why or Why not? Explain.
No. Personally I don’t think all photos should be altered to because it gives that originality to the images that were taken with the original colors that the camera captured.
8. By altering an portrait, what does it allow you to do to the portrait? Explain.
By altering the photo, it gives me the freedom to do as I please for the image. I can create art that not everyone can create or try to create.

I took photos of Nature and my Classmates.
2. How does this image use force perspective? Explain.
Force Perspective makes the image look like i'm actually holding the object or tricking the camera.

I made the subject go further away to make it look like they shrunk.
4. What was hard about creating this force perspective image? Explain.
Focusing the image and the perspective of the models that I was using.

It made the image 100 times better and tricked the camera.

Photo 2 independent project

Urban Landscape and Architecture. I chose this because you can create so many beautiful photos, I was in Europe and I was able to mess with the shadows of the buildings and create something wonderful.

I tried many angles, got dirty to get the perfect image that could capture a certain frame I desired.

I used dark shadowing to make the image appear to be darker and to make it look like an actual urban photo.

I learned that it really doesn't matter what the photo looks like as long as you have the correct angle and style of editing, it can turn out amazing.
5. Was there anything you found difficult about creating these images? Explain why.
Nothing at all, I loved shooting landscape.

I think i'm going to be shooting portraits because thats my thing, i like making people look and feel special by giving them the best image of themselves.
